With Essendon prizing Xavier Duursma away from Port Adelaide during the AFL Trade Period – is there a chance his highly touted brother, Zane, could join him at the Bombers?
The younger Duursma is expected to be a top five selection at the worst, and the Bombers are a very long shot at landing him, with their first pick coming in at number nine.
House of Footy‘s draft expert Jordon Hudson also doesn’t expect to see Zane Duursma pulling on the Bombers’ jumper, but instead being picked up by one of two fierce rivals.

“Not unless the Bombers get up (the draft order),” he said.
“There’s certainly no chance he’s going to slide to Essendon if they stay put with their current pick.
“He’ll either be at North Melbourne or Hawthorn with the way the current order stands.
“Zane Duursma is a really good dynamic third forward, he’s had flashes of play in the midfield this year, but clubs see him as a tallish third forward.
“He’ll be able to play some game time through the midfield.”
